Safety distances
Please refer to the Technical Manual of the respective stove model for information on safety distances.
Note on chimney dimensioning
Proof that the flue gases from the appliance are properly discharged to the outside under all intended operating conditions must be provided in accordance with DIN EN 13384-1 or DIN EN 13384-2.
Calculations must be carried out for the respective fuel, and the exhaust conditions must be checked.
For the thermal design of the flue system, the triple values from the type tests with the respective fuel apply.
For appliances that are operated with only one type of fuel (either firewood or pellets), the calculation must be performed using only that fuel.
